Meshcore # Channels

This is a list of channels that we use on our network to help organize conversations.

News Channel

This channel is reserved for news and announcements during emergencies, #news, A bot will automatically publish to this channel and discousions can be had here releated to the current situation.

Emergency Channel

This channel is reserved for emergencies, #emergency, Please try to keep this channel for discussing active emergencies or preperations.

Repeater Testing Channel

The repeater testing channel, #repeater-testing, is reserved for testing deployments on a channel that won't clog up public. It should not be used for conversations.

Test Channel

The general testing channel, #test, is reserved for more general testing of hardware or software.

Dad Jokes (Aka #fun)

The dad jokes channel, #fun, is just for making jokes and having fun.

Weather

The weather channel, #weather, is for weather related discussion's.

How to add a channel

Bluetooth Clients (Mobile App)

If you are using the mobile app on Android or iOS:

  1. Connect to your node via Bluetooth.
  2. Click the Three Dots at the top right.
  3. Tap Add Channel.
  4. Click the button that says Join a Hashtag Channel.
  5. Type in the tag of the channel you want to join.
  6. Click Join Channel.
